Who we are
The Playgroup and Literacy Programme is a long-established NGO that has been supporting English-speaking families in and around Geneva for over 38 years.
Located in Thoiry, France—just a 10-minute drive from the Meyrin CERN border—we offer weekly playgroup sessions and literacy classes in English, creating a warm and engaging environment for young children and their families.
Members also enjoy a variety of annual events (See section “Events”) along with access to a well-stocked children’s library and the opportunity to connect with a welcoming, like-minded community.
The programme is run entirely by dedicated volunteers whose commitment keeps everything thriving. For more details about volunteering opportunities and how to get involved, please refer to the Volunteers section.
